Since graduating from New York University in 1997, Jesse has put his degree in English and Creative Writing through a range of experiences guaranteed to make a good story--and a great salesman. Building on editorial internships at Little Brown and Fox Television, Jesse's early experience included reporting for the Villager Newspaper in New York City, updating a book for The Princeton Review, and late-night software conversion projects at a number of high-profile law firms.
In the late '90's, Jesse was recruited by Prudential Securities to work in the client services brokerage division at their headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. At the time, Pru was regarded as having the most successful sales training program on the Street. As a licensed securities broker, Jesse specialized in developing 401(k) and other business-related financial products. During his couple year stint on Wall Street, his sales numbers consistently ranked at the top of his class.
After the stock market took a severe downturn, Jesse saw early on that the smart money was shifting from equity markets to real estate markets. In 2001, he started Cutting Edge Tile and Marble, one of the Internet's first online tile distribution services. Using a range of new and existing media technologies, Jesse marketed and sold products from manufacturers around the world. As interest grew in new ways of promoting the natural beauty of tile and stone in electronic media, hundreds of companies would eventually sprout up over the next several years.
During this time Jesse also consulted with several large distribution companies about intergrating web marketing into their existing system. After successfully building Cutting Edge into a fully functional distribution system, Jesse sold his share of the business to his partner, Vazquez Tile, Marble, and Stone--a Florida company well-known for their craftsmanship at the homes of Orlando celebrities, such as Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer.
Today, Jesse is proud to be helping industry icon, Jimco Maintenance, build on a 40-year record of achievement that is nothing short of legendary. Since coming on board in 2006, he has played a leading role in adding several Fortune 500 retail chains as clients.
